Abstract

This study investigates the implementation of interactive media in science learning at MI An Nazwa to address low student participation. Using qualitative narrative methodology, data were collected through classroom observations, in-depth interviews with one teacher and one student, and documentation during October 2025. Findings reveal that systematic implementation through seven structured steps - from planning to interactive evaluation - significantly increased active student participation by 60%, enhanced learning motivation and focus, and improved cognitive abilities in understanding abstract science concepts. The study identifies three constraint categories: parental resistance to gadget use, inadequate technological infrastructure, and challenging peer dynamics. Despite these multidimensional challenges, interactive media successfully transformed the learning environment from teacher-centered to student-centered, creating more meaningful and engaging science instruction. The research contributes to developing contextual technology integration models for Islamic elementary schools and suggests future studies on longitudinal impacts and localized media development to address the unique needs of madrasah education systems while balancing technological innovation with cultural considerations
