Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the principles of character building and strategies for developing an excellent personality in the digital era based on the Qur’an among Madrasah Ibtidaiyah students. The research employed a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method by analyzing 38 scientific articles published between 2020 and 2025. The review process consisted of four stages: identification, screening, eligibility, and synthesis. The results show that Qur’an-based character education emphasizes values such as honesty, discipline, responsibility, sincerity, and noble character, integrated into digital learning curricula. Teachers play a key role as facilitators of Qur’anic values through contextual learning innovations and technology use grounded in spirituality. These findings strengthen Islamic education theories emphasizing the integration of faith, knowledge, and action to face moral challenges in the digital age. This study provides a foundation for developing Qur’an-based character education models relevant to 21st-century educational needs in madrasah contexts.
