Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to submit manuscripts that are original, unpublished, and not under consideration for publication elsewhere. The following guidelines should be observed when preparing a manuscript for Radja Bhupati: Jurnal Pengabdian dan Pemberdayaan:

  1. General Requirements
  • Manuscripts must be written in English.
  • Manuscripts should be submitted in Microsoft Word (.docx) format via the Online Journal System (OJS).
  • The length of the manuscript should be 4,000–7,000 words, including tables, figures, and references.
  • The manuscript should be typed using Times New Roman, 12 pt, 1.5 line spacing, with 2.5 cm margins on all sides.
  1. Manuscript Structure

The manuscript should follow the structure below:

Title

  • Concise, clear, and informative (maximum 15 words).
  • Written in sentence case.

Author Information

  • Full name(s) of the author(s) without academic titles.
  • Affiliation (institution, city, country).
  • Corresponding author’s email address.

Abstract

  • Written in English, 150–250 words.
  • Includes background, objectives, methods, results, and conclusions.
  • Followed by 3–5 keywords separated by commas.

Introduction

  • Background and rationale of the study.
  • Research gap and objectives.

Method

  • Detailed explanation of the approach, methods, and procedures of the community service activities.
  • Include location, participants, stages, and evaluation methods.

Results and Discussion

  • Presentation of results with supporting data (tables, figures, or photographs).
  • Analytical discussion that connects findings with previous studies, theories, or practices.

Conclusion

  • Summarize the main findings and their implications for community development.
  • Provide recommendations for practice or further study.

Acknowledgment (if any)

  • To recognize individuals or institutions that contributed to the project.

References

  • Must follow APA 7th edition style.
  • Authors are encouraged to use reference managers such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote.
  • At least 70% of references should be from journal articles published within the last 10 years.
  1. Tables and Figures
  • Tables and figures must be placed within the text and referred to in the manuscript.
  • Each table/figure should have a clear title, number, and source (if adapted).
  • Images must be high resolution (minimum 300 dpi).
  1. Plagiarism Policy
  • Manuscripts will be checked using plagiarism detection software.
  • Only manuscripts with a similarity index below 20% will be considered for review.
  1. Peer Review Process
  • All submissions will undergo double-blind peer review.
  • The decision to accept, revise, or reject a manuscript will be based on reviewers’ recommendations and the editorial board’s assessment.
  1. Publication Fee
  • Currently, there is no article processing charge (APC).
  • Authors will be informed if publication fees are applied in the future.
  1. Copyright and Open Access
  • The journal applies an open access policy, allowing articles to be freely downloaded, shared, and cited.
  • Authors retain copyright and grant the journal the right of first publication.
