Efforts to Build Anti-Bullying Awareness at MTs Hidayatul Falah Cisarua Village through Educational and Interactive Workshops

Bullying remains a serious problem in schools as it affects students’ psychological, social, and academic development. At MTs Hidayatul Falah, Cisarua Village, symptoms such as mockery, exclusion, and low empathy among students indicate the need for structured and sustainable preventive efforts. This community service project aimed to build anti-bullying awareness through an educational and interactive workshop. The method applied was a participatory approach that combined material delivery, group discussions, case simulations, and educational games involving all students actively. The results revealed an increase in knowledge about the forms, causes, and impacts of bullying, the development of empathy, improved positive communication skills, and the emergence of student initiatives to act as change agents within the school environment. Furthermore, teachers demonstrated commitment to continuous guidance by integrating anti-bullying values into the learning process. Overall, the workshop proved effective as a preventive strategy for creating a child-friendly, safe, and collaborative school culture, while also supporting a healthier and more productive learning climate. These findings highlight the importance of institutionalizing such programs as regular activities, strengthened by the support of teachers, parents, and the community so that anti-bullying values can be consistently internalized.
